No my friend, really, Meeks was in the way and all I could see was Kov hunched over and Ward delivered three uppercuts that was intended for the body.

but "sadly" missed and hit the balls.

Yeah there is no standing 8 counting in Nevada. I don't know if he still does it but I remember Ledderman for years screaming it when he read out the rules at the start of a heap of fights "NO STANDING 8 COUNT, NO 3 KNOCKDOWN RULE, CANNOT BE SAVED BY THE BELL IN ANY ROUND INCLUDING THE 12th AND FINAL ROUND". The only thing up for debate is whether or not the shots were legal. If they were legal Tony Weeks has no option but to stop it with Kovalev folded in half against the ropes not defending himself (from memory the ropes were not holding him up until Weeks waved it off and he kind of sat down). If they were not legal shot then it's a 5 minute rest for Kovalev and probably points deducted from Ward. No-one on here is ever going to agree so I'm going to run with Weeks' call and move on with my life

Haha yeah how clumsy of me. I was watching a fight on youtube one time and the person who uploaded it actually had a little speech bubble come up "JIM" when he said it. I enjoyed that one.
