Imagine...getting hit in the nuts by a punch from a pro boxer.. you'd need time to recover. He was not done.
The initial right hand was legit and hurt him ...but the after effects of the low blows was too much.Comment

I know you guys have agendas and so on, but really.
Low Blow or Not ? What do you people think ? #WardKovalev2 🇺🇸🇷🇺 pic.twitter.com/2iHBKGLVm3

I actually had £50 on kovalev by stoppage. No agenda here I just think ward deserves credit for actually going for the KO. Not many expected that, me included.Comment

That is an obvious low blow. Anyone denying that is delusional. I'm not even blaming Ward here. I'm blaming Weeks, who made a terrible decision to stop the fight.
I don't care if Kovalev was looking done. Make the right call some can get a proper finish. Kovalev should have gotten 5 minutes there.
The same Ward fans who say that isn't a low blow probably think Hopkins for but low against Calzaghe.Comment

He was but that shouldnt let Weeks off the hook. We shouldn't have anticlimactic endings like that in boxing.Comment

I have to admit, I picked Ward by decision and never anticipated that ending. I thought If there was a KO It would be Ward getting knocked out. Ward deserves all the credit In the world for going all out.Comment
