You can't blame floyd and mcgregor from cahing in on the names THEY built.

Boxing is doing well for the hardcore, but the only "crossover" fight we have seen this year is Joshua-Klitschko

So i'm not boycotting ****, i'm ordering this freakshow, i'm ordering pizza and wings, and gonna open some beers with the boys and enjoy the mayhem.

I won't be crying no tears for ward and kovalev who can't draw flies to ****.

i consider myself a floyd fan...but i agree...the timing on this is just terrible......they are upstaging the two best fights that can be made in boxing and that stinks

Would ggg/canelo be an afterthought if they built their profiles like Floyd and Conor did?

The Floyd/Conor fight would be irrelevant if the powers that be in boxing rewarded winning instead of stars. If the canelo/ggg fight had happened already as it should have, the winner would have a big enough profile that the Floyd/Conor fight would be less relevant.

Instead, we watched both fight easy guy after easy guy while they let their fight marinate.

ODH and HBO did this to themselves.

As for Ward/kov- the promotion has been crap and has no buzz. Roc nation and duva have done an absolutely shit job promoting this fight. HBO as well. If this fight was on hbo instead of ppv I think more people would be paying attention.

1) As you said yourself you cant blame either guy for doing it, lets be real no human would say no in the same situation.

2) So that really means when are they going to have it, no matter when they have it they will dominate world sport not just boxing, so what ever year or fights near this thing will have the same effect, this is the kind of freak show that as Pauli said, the curious flock too.

We are grains of sand your dumb boycott will effect nobody but you, sit back have a laugh enjoy the under card and good looking women viewing it for what it is a celebrity fight, this sht is not that serious lol.
