I've seen very little media attention calling this fight anything but a money grab. Everyone sells it will sell because it will get covered and Conor and Floyd talk trash. No one has to pay for the build up, just skip paying for the fight.

It's just desserts for Oscar and Canelo by delaying the fight for so ****ing long. Should've been a huge money maker for all involved and they just took a massive hit.

I'd say it's already even lost some of its shine too as Golovkin has lost his aura of invincibility.

I live a very comfortable, upper middle class life. I live in a 3000sq ft house. I'll be watching Ward-Kovalev II tonight on my 55" HDTV, in my 20×18 man cave, which is where I'll be watching Canelo-GGG. I've flown to NYC earlier this year to see Thurman-Garcia. Will be flying back next month to see Broner-Garcia. The only reason I'm not in Vegas today, is because I'm leaving for a family cruise to Conzumel in a couple days. I've also been down to Birmingham yo watch Deontay Wilder the week before Thurman-Garcia. Not attending Canelo-GGG because I'm a diehard Titans fan and don't do much traveling during football season, unless its to a Titans game.

Notice nowhere in my dialogue did you see me mention Mayweather-McGregor. Will I watch? Maybe, maybe not. I have pretty much ZERO interest in it. Which means if I watch, I doubt I'll pay to see it. That's the difference between you and I. I'm perfectly happy and content with where I am in life. So Floyd or anybody else can bull**** and rob the public all they want. It doesn't affect me, or anybody that I care about. And it will only affect my pocket if I allow it. Son, you really need to get yo life.

Oscar shouldn't have called for a boycott. Then Floyd was even more determined to make the 'event' happen. Almost nobody is going to watch Cotto-Kamegai, but that is not exactly an attractive fight. The promotion will be spun as in 'what if Mayweather looks old in the ring, and what if McGregor catches him flush with a big punch?'. Clever marketing. It's like when we thought Chavez Jr had any chance at all against Canelo, and we know what happened there.

Wait. So GGG/Canelo has been cancelled because of Floyd? Or are you upset there may be less people watching the same television show as you? I'm confused as to why you personally are upset.

There are PLENTY of open dates Floydie McDuck could've chosen. And for that matter, there is way too much of that going on with all networks, promoters etc. I guarantee boxing would be on much better footing right now if all promoters/networks got together and worked out the dates so none collide with others. It COULD be done, and all boxing events would see better attendance, and the sport would see more interest in general.

I'm kind of surprised that you don't know this, however Floyd and Andre have a little beef, and so does Floyd and Virgil! It's some petty ****, but it's real! Google it. Anyway, the target is HBO, Andre is collateral damage! Mayweather and Showtime are major competitors of GBP/TR/HBO, so Floyd is doing what a "BOSS" does. If this was Canelo vs. McGregor, or Pacquiao vs. McGregor, how would HBO handle it?
