He is now fighting for a WBO regional title so who cares if he failed at this point? He is fighting again against a ranked opponent in Rudenko. If he wins this fight he will at the very least be ranked in the top 15 somewhere in the WBO. This is the only body allowing him to pursue a regional belt so he should be able to move up quickly in the WBO as there are no fighters who are nearly as good as him in the top 15. He could be the mandatory early next year unless he loses or fails another test.
