When his ppv bombs & the networks dont pay enough for more unifications going forward to make it worth fighters while then we wont get many more big fights next yr,& itll be just like before when mayweather was cashcow. This coward couldnt at least have made his announcement later,& he couldn't stage his circus later,he is why boxing had become irrelevant to casuals,& kov vs ward fight will tank because of this garbage.
Back Ward doesn't have to care, and it shows. He's guaranteed 6.5 mil from a check from Jay Z... who is an ee-diott for paying Back Ward that much. He should've at least made it conditional on Back Ward doing X amount of promoting for the fight.

But what I find ridiculous and hilarious at the same time are some of the comments from what I call the arm-chair promoters. Geez, what ignorance. One moron said it should be on regular network TV BECAUSE it would bring in 'millions of viewers'. Never mind top network prime time boxing events rarely if ever top ONE million peak views. Nor do they pay anywhere near what Diva Back Ward would demand to grow enough stones to sign the papers.

The biggest obstacle to Kovalev/Ward is definitely that narcissist Floydie's joke fight announcement this week. Just the thing to drag in the attention of the trailer trash casuals. I just hope Kovalev makes some decent money on this. If anyone in the fight biz deserves it he does.

        You are... x1000
it was a boring fight. **** all clean shots landed in second half of the fight, no great combos, noone rocked after the 2nd round. 'Call me a hater, but I expect a fight even uglier than the first. I thought Kovalev won it, but I also saw a style matchup that was settling into something excruciating to watch. And I think it’ll pick up right where it left off.' thats what one of the pundits said in there prediciton in ring magazine. it really was a terrible fight, just because two world class fighters were in there doesnt get away from that fact, it lacked any real action.
