Hunter said that Ward has been trained for the KO, and Kovalev's perceived weakness is his stamina. I would assume that the game-plan is to find ways of keeping Kov physically and mentally occupied, while also landing meaningful body shots. Accuracy will definitely be key, but that seems to be an inherent element of his style/skill-set. If he's being trained to stop Kov, I assume he's going to increase his work-rate rather than allow Kov to rest or control range. On the other hand, Kov must be concerned with accuracy and body punching instead of increasing his output. He threw 100 more punches than Ward, but landed at a much lower %.
This fight could go many ways, which is why I'm still interested in seeing it again. However, the least likely outcome is Ward by KO.
