You may have something there. As far as the thread goes I don't see Ward knocking Kovalev out unless he hits him with the stool in his corner. He may outsmart him but knock him out....not bloody likely.

I agree. I just hope that this fight shows a clear winner this time. If Kov wins, we're looking at a trilogy, if Ward wins in a LEGIT manner this time, then he is the better man IMO.

Except that Ward is far from attracting any PPV buys that Floyd has, and he already hinted many times at retiring soon, so I really don't see that marketability angle play out at all.

Even if he isn't a big attraction now, the longer that "0" is around, the bigger the draw he'll be.

As far as retiring goes, fraud laid the blueprint on how to fake retire to keep that "0". Let's hope Ward is legit and continues to fight the best
