Well if that means less emphasis on the headbutting and wrestling that can only be good for the fight.

You may have something there. As far as the thread goes I don't see Ward knocking Kovalev out unless he hits him with the stool in his corner. He may outsmart him but knock him out....not bloody likely.

How can you knock someone out by clinching? Ward doesn't really change with his jab then clinch style.

If he does believe this he'll lose and lose big.
yeah but kovs own trainer admitted kov did the majority of the grabbing why is this just blamed on ward? I agree with the rest of your post tho. I don't think he has a chance on the outside, Kov held to avoid the inside fight but it tired him.

Hunter saying Ward's going for a KO is like OJ saying he's gonna find Nicole's killer. lol

Ward too cautious and defensive minded to go for the ko. at best he can get a flash knockdown. kov too experience and too dangerous for ward to throw cautious to the wind and go for the ko. but this is boxing. everyone has a punchers chance.

Except that Ward is far from attracting any PPV buys that Floyd has, and he already hinted many times at retiring soon, so I really don't see that marketability angle play out at all.
