Well if that means less emphasis on the headbutting and wrestling that can only be good for the fight.

How can you knock someone out by clinching? Ward doesn't really change with his jab then clinch style.

Ward too cautious and defensive minded to go for the ko. at best he can get a flash knockdown. kov too experience and too dangerous for ward to throw cautious to the wind and go for the ko. but this is boxing. everyone has a punchers chance.
