Dana says he expects Conor to make around $100 million for the fight but wouldn't break down the financials. Dana says he spoke with Conor this morning -- he's VERY excited. http://www.boxingscene.com/mayweather-vs-mcgregor-dana-white-reveals-fight-details--117538#sthash.L7ShCUU8.dpuf

They have to disclose the purse before the fight in Nevada.

I'm going to guess this is a condition the UFC asked for.

The Sport is actually in very good shape right now. There are 10+ marketable fighters with a couple true stars already. GGG, Loma, Canelo, Ward, Kovalev, M Garcia, Crawford, Thurman, Spence, Wilder, Joshua, Stevenson, Rigondeaux, and Davis are a fantastic group of top fighters. Pacquaio is fading fast, but is still a draw. Mayweather is retired, but his fight with Conor will really draw in millions of new fans.

This is a great age for boxing, haven't seen so many good young fighters since the 80s IMO, still and we have several established champs in their 30s who still have some years left.

You mean Haymon is as smart as they come because Floyd's career purses didn't really take off until Haymon started handling the money and found a way to buy him out of Top Rank. If not for Al Floyd would've never gone off on his own. Let's give credit where it's due, same ishh that pisses me off about folks crediting Jay-z with being this great business mind when all they do is sign off on what the money people put in front of them.

Whether we like it or not; this fight promotion, from now until the fight, will be much bigger than Canelo-Golovkin and overshadow that bout in the mainstream media, with many more pay-per views as well.

they only have to disclose the guaranteed amount in the contract.

This event will generate over $1 Billion.....

When you factor in the multiplier effect this fight will make over a $1 Billion dollars for the Las Vegas economy. Hotels will be packed, comedy shows, parties, security, bus services, janitors, people spending money outside the Vegas strip at outlets, restaurants. The economic impact will be massive and many people will benefit from this event.
