Actually Floyd's movement will be too much especially early. If a experienced boxer is going to get "caught" it will be the later rounds when the legs fatigue.

Those early rounds, that are so critical to McGregor, those are the same early rounds old man Mayweather will be his most virile.. Not that he's known for slowing down.. Floyd's at peak on the energy curve during the period in which McGregor is supposed to have his best chance of opportunity.

      Indeed.

        Chess vs Checkers

Will be like a good checkers player playing chess against a chess master. We all know how that would end.

The only way McGregor has a chance is if Mayweather is shot to ****.

UFC does longer rounds but shorter fights, Conor would need a lot of cardio for this fight. Especially if Mayweather takes him towards the 9,10 or 11th rounds.

There will only be one punch in this fight. It will be the one Mayweather knocks McGregor silly with. Out cold. Pour a Guinness on his dreaming ass.

All McGregor has to do is finish him.

That could happen in a variety of ways: cuts, injury etc.

McGregor will be much stronger in the clinch and has experience with wrestling. There's a chance he turns Floyd in the clinch and pops his knee out.

I wouldn't rule that possibility out, especially since Floyd is 40 years old and hasn't fought in almost 2 years. At some point that's going to catch up with you, and at some point his body might break down and it might catch up with him in this fight against a much younger and much stronger opponent.

Yep. And Conor is a big time front runner. He's only fought past the 2nd round (the 10 minute mark) 2 times in his 9 year career. He's only had 1 fight go the MMA distance (25 minutes). And now he's in a fight that'll be 11 minutes longer in a new sport lol.

Plus as a guy who's seen MMA guys box many times before they tend to be used to that MMA pace. Its almost like a amateur boxer in his first pro fights when he's not fully adapted to being able to pace himself more & take his time. And MMA guys tend to be more risk takers so he's for sure going to try to do some dumb sh^t that'll be high risk high reward.

I actually think the biggest opportunity Conor has in this fight is his awkwardness, not necessarily his power. The upside of his power would just be a byproduct of the success of his awkwardness I believe.

But even then the problem is who adapts better then Floyd? So Conor will need success early & decisive success early cuz that'll be his moment & he'll be unlikely to get another chance at it.
