what the fuck is a pre-Madonna? Please only use words that you know or else people will think you are a ******ed prima donna.Floyd fought Cotto at 154... fight should be at 155 really. I mean Floyd is such pre-Madonna - can't even concede the weight to make the match up more interesting - even needs to drain a guy with no professional boxing matches lol
That being said - If Floyd beats Conor - he would have beaten an opponent who is better than GGG's entire resume apart from Jacobs...
Much props to Floyd for taking a risky fight here.Comment

If that were true then he would of fought Canelo at 154. He had already fought Cotto and Oscar at 154 but refused to fight Canelo unless he came down in weight. Canelo couldn't physically make 147 and let's be honest he would of probably still beat Canelo at 154 but he used his position in negotiations to make Canelo fight at the weight he dictated. Canelo had no choice and Mcgregor won't either. He fought Oscar a lifetime ago when Oscar was the A side so he had no choice but to fight at 154. He fought Cotto because he didn't fear him and wanted to take a shot at Pacquiao who beat Cotto at catweight. Otherwise he would of forced Cotto to drop lbs too.Floyd fought Cotto at 154... fight should be at 155 really. Floyd is the A side and he get's to dictate the terms that's how it works. Connor will fight in the a ring not cage, boxing gloves not UFC gloves and it will be at whatever weight Floyd tells him.Last edited by bigdunny1; 06-13-2017, 08:06 AM.Comment

I think the fight just sells better though at 155 - the angle gets played that Floyd is fighting at "Middleweight" or "Caneloweight" and that's another disadvantage - he's never fought at the weight, highest weight against bigger man, etc.. The more Floyd has favorable terms the more you are risking turning off people who are borderline deciding to buy this fight. If that were true then he would of fought Canelo at 154. When you use the wrong words you change the substance of the post. The problem isn't auto-correct, it's that you have a limited vocabulary. You are not the brightest light bulb in the pack.
Actually, let me type this how you would've- ewe our not the brite-est lite bulb in de pac.Comment

I agree the fight is already a massive mismatch and throwing a few crumbs to McGregor might get a handful more fans to think he actually has a chance. My point is simply looking at Floyd's history he just doesn't give things away for free. Remember he refused to fight Maidana unless he changed his gloves. Maidana had gloves that were approved and sanctioned and still Floyd used his leverage to make him change them. He uses every bit of his A side leverage and McGregor camp has already conceded so much and already on record saying no problem going to 147. So good luck getting Floyd to say ok let's just increase the weight you can have that additional advantage. I can't see it happeningI think the fight just sells better though at 155 - the angle gets played that Floyd is fighting at "Middleweight" or "Caneloweight" and that's another disadvantage - he's never fought at the weight, highest weight against bigger man, etc..
