I don't understand why so many people dislike Andre Ward?

1) He fights dirty. He has since his early days, to Kessler, to Rodiguez and today.
2) His fights are boring to watch.
3) He whines like a little girl. He's not respected, he's not liked, they're forcing me to do this and that, etc. STFU and be a man.
4) The 'retirement' talk he fueled made him sound like a huge wuss looking for a way out. Yeah, he honored the rematch, but everything he said before that was disgraceful to the sport.
5) He acts like a diva. Goosen got him the golden goose and he sued him. He talks about how he's disrespected which is 100% bull****. He was the only boxer appearing in Nike's 25th anniversary commercial. He appeared in the Rocky franchise. He got paid insane amount of money for garbage fights that nobody watched (Smith/Brand). He's still complaining about money despite the first PPV bombing and being an obvious financial disaster.
6) He tried to fight that Murdoch dude and then actually fought Brand. For a world class, P4P fighter, those 2 matches are absolutely unforgivable. Brand was worse than Salka. Dude was a 40th ranked 39 year old at 168 that Ward pulled up to 175. IMO this is the worst cherrypick in the last 5 years.
7) He talks a ton of smack and lies. Some of the **** that comes out of his mouth is worse than Roach or Sanchez.

To say race has anything to do with any of this is such a small minded concept i'm a fan of just about any other black boxer ...i didnt like stevenson because he pimped underage girls and has been hiding from everyone in montreal for years but i watched an interview of him explaining his criminal past and must say im over that ,so if he fights a decent fighter next he will make a fan of me

Not really to crazy about ward though...what really is to like? fighting style is boring to watch, his defense isnt exactly super elusive like a mayweather or rigondeaux, his output is low, clinches, wrestles, he has nice body attack though ..outside of the ring he is very smug almost arrogant like something which i would assume turns alot of people off.

I gained huge respect for Ward taking on Kovalev ...lost quite a bit of respect how he acted from then till now.
if he beats kovalev convincingly respect will be back...if he is gracious in defeat, huge respect
