I don't understand why so many people dislike Andre Ward?

I hate to break it to you, (and I certainly cant speak for all GGG fans), but I would suspect that a great many fans are like myself, and Ward simply does not matter. He doesnt really even cross our minds unless we see some dopey thread like this, and then we are reminded as to what an asshat Ward really is.

Unlike the GGG hate squad, who seem to wake up every morning with a "everything is the white mans fault" note taped to their bathroom mirror.....

Golovkin fans can't go more than a few posts without bringing up race. They are the ones with it constantly on their minds.

I call people out all the time here for it. They make things up, pretend that he said things he didn't and then you ask them to prove it, they can't. One pathetic little weasel (which I'll keep nameless) says because he has "all black people on his team" that somehow that shows he's racist. Yet ward himself is half white lol.

They don't like him for the following reasons:
1. He punked golovkin
2. He beat kovalev
3. They know kovalev will likely lose again
4. He already beat one of their favorite fighters, and are still sore about it.
5. They believe he's a dirty fighter
6. He's #1 p4p
7. He's half black.

I like him and respect him as a man. I think he is a good person, and I respect the odds he overcame during his youth and the challenges he faced and to come out on the other end of it a success.

As a fighter, I don't find him very entertaining. He clinches a lot, and at times he is just dirty. His nice-guy image allows him to get away with it, along with being crafty and slick. He also put his career on the shelf for way too long and lost a couple of years of his prime fighting lawsuits instead of opponents. He's one of those fighters I can take him or leave him, I don't feel strongly about him one way or the other.

He's a documented cheater. He intentionally headbutts and elbows opponents. The Kessler fight was a real eye opener, exactly like the Povetkin fight was for Wlad.

I cannot respect or support him.
