Bruce Lee's ONLY ever recorded fight (VIDEO)

Bruce Lee should be respected and admired for his philosophy towards martial arts and fighting in general. I always got the sense that he trained for real life fighting and defense, not so much for a sport with rules. I know some Krav Maga guys that would get schooled in a boxing or jujitsu amateur bout but would destroy combat sports guys in a no rules-anything goes type of fight.

Now a Bruce Lee that trained in MMA would've been a sight to see!

The guy Would sell out seats quick, seeing someone who literally do nearly anything while in striking stance!.

Timing, reflexes, hand speed, and counters!

His legs alone would be eating guys up!

His problem will be guys who are wrestlers and have backgrounds in their ground game!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lee get out of a couple grapples or takedowns but eventually someone will catch him, someone bigger and faster or just way better than him on the ground!

you must not know about bruce lee... he's pretty much the 1st one to cross train in other styles and incorporate them into his jkd system.

He's trained with highly regarded masters in judo, tae kwon do, of course his wang chun from man yip.


and also any karateka/martial artist from those days can tell you that there were dojo challenges all the time... behind closed doors and no cameras etc.

Erm JCVD was 18-1 as a kickboxer with that one defeat being a DQ... semi contact he was 44-4, not too shabby for an actor

considering Bruce Lee weighed between 140 and 150, that match up is totally unrealistic. He would need to fight someone in his weight class or the whole point of combat sport would go out of the window. Also I can't remember the dude but he and a few guys tried to pick on Bruce and he claimed that Lee kicked all their asses at the same time
