Damn I watched that fight last night and that overhand right was something vicious, Buckled his legs inward and folded the man.. I wish the Franco the best and a full recovery,, another reminder of how real this sport is. He had pretty decent defense throughout the fight but was definitely getting tagged he had great movement with his legs he just got caught with the perfect punch.

I hope and pray he recovers and retires from boxing, this reminds me of that pretty boy boxer similar to Franco from UK, his name is Blackwell I think? well he was in a coma, he recovered and didnt slur, a few months later his trainer let him do some hard sparring and he had to be put in another coma.

This shows you how vicious boxing is, its no joke its dangerous, that was one of the most vicious knockouts his knees went in and he just dropped, he was still groggy, but its weird how they say being knocked out is better than taking a prolonged beating, but Franco didnt take a beating he was put out quick and still suffered.

Yes. Too many keyboard warriors on here who never been socked in the mouth before cause they always run from a real fight but yet they call a boxer a quitter when he takes a knee or gives up cause they know they've had enough.
Boxer is a brutal and dangerous sport and all boxers are real warriors not like some punks on here.
Hope this kid recovers and lives a normal and happy life.

Umm... This happens in boxing. Its a brutal and sometimes unfortunate sport. It sucks but this is a sport that gives the poor ppl opportunity to change their life for the better and many times their familys. And to do so you have to be entertaining and go all out. If you are trtung to say everyone needs to turn into a boring maywether style of fighters then i totally disagree. Its a sport that relys on entertaining crowds. Whoever dont like that should just go watch paint dry.

Excellent post. It Is unfortunate, but as you said, It happens. Just like with any dangerous career choice(highway construction, logging, farming ect) each day could be your last.
