I'm surprised no one has mentioned one thing that could play a big role in the fight. Broner has has gone late in fights, to the distance a number of times and Mikey has not had a fight in years that has gone over a few rounds. That could make a difference.....we do know that Broner has dropped fighters late in fights so stamina is not an issue.

Mikey's a true student of the game though so I think he's already ready to go 12 rounds.

I often have to remind people to re-watch those last 3 or 4 rounds of that Maidana fight.
Broner was coming on late, punishing Maidana. He displayed amazing fortitude and perseverance fighting from behind.

It looked clear to me that Maidana couldn't wait for that fight to be over to secure the victory as he was fading, while Broner was getting stronger and stronger Hitting Maidana with everything including the kitchen sink.

Translation= Broner may be more dangerous after being hurt, as it seems to bring out the dog in him.
