****im Richardson says Ward Drops Kovalev in Rematch!

don't get me wrong, i don't think it was a walk in the park for kovalev either, it was a tough demanding fight for him too and is true that he looked visibly tired in the second half of the fight but it's hilarious how every time they tell the story about the fight they keep adding new thingsWard supporters have warped the first fight in their minds into Ward pounding Kovalev with Joe Frazier left hooks to the body and ****. It's ridiculous.
I can definitely see how Ward got the decision, but people who think Ward won have increasingly lost their goddamn minds about the first fight.Comment

And Kovalev was never able to land his money punch for the remainder of the fight. Which leads me to believe that he won't be able to do it in the rematch. Kovalev can fight, but if you look at his history, he has never had to make adjustments in a fight before since he dominated most of his opponents, even Hopkins. I don't think we will see anything different from him, but whether you think he won or not, Ward was largely able to neutralize Kovalev's right hand with movement and his jab as well.I have seen the punch Kovalev knocked Ward down with replayed many times. It was a short arm punch without much body weight in it. If Kovalev had landed his long, heavy straight right with his weight behind it Ward wouldn't have beat the ten count in my opinion. I am saying Kovalev dropped Ward with a punch that wasn't even close to being his best punch. Kovalev's Sunday punch is a hell of a lot harder that that.Comment

I will surely bump this thread when sergey gets put on his ass...There are millions of boxing fans and every one of them has an opinion on how the rematch will go. ****m's opinion means no more than any other boxing fan. His predictions on future fights are not always spot on. If they were he would be a very rich from betting on boxing. ****m said what you wanted to hear so you start a thread on it. If ****m had picked Kovalev you wouldn't have started a thread about it. You say there will be lots of hurt feelings after the fight based solely on the opinion of ****m. That is ****** BS. When the fight is over we will see who's fans get their feelings hurt. You are gloating and boasting on Ward's KO victory over Kovalev a week too early as if you know the future before it happens. When the real fight happens it just might be Kovalev who knocks Ward down an out. There is only one KO artist in this fight and it isn't Ward.Comment

are you talking about the time they got tangled up and ward threw an off balance kovalev into the ropes? that would be pretty pathetic to pretend that had something to do with a ward punch and not wards wrestling but when you have no substance to go on you just make up thingsComment

the chilemba fight was a tough demanding fight but no one pretends that chilemba won because he has no delusional fanboys on here and boxing politics didnt give him the windon't get me wrong, i don't think it was a walk in the park for kovalev either, it was a tough demanding fight for him too and is true that he looked visibly tired in the second half of the fight but it's hilarious how every time they tell the story about the fight they keep adding new thingsComment

I'd be pretty surprised if Ward dropped Kovalev. Kov didn't seem particularly close to hitting the deck at any point in the first fight.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 06-10-2017, 04:12 PM.Comment

Before the Mosley-Mayweather fight he said Mosley is gonna get an opportunity early on and he's gotta take advantage of it. Because Floyd will shut that window of opportunity just as fast as it opensNot necessarily. He accurately predicted Ward would have to pick his ass up off the canvas in the first fight.
What also gets overlooked, was him saying Joe Smith might put Hopkins on his back, before their fight. ****im's a pretty non-biased dude.
Look past the "Brother" ****im part....Comment
