Simply put...Haye may have been rated high in the past, but in the ring you don't fight a guys reputation from past fights. 2017 Haye has a better name than 2015 Stiverne, but 2015 Stiverne is a tougher out.
Who is talking about Haye? I'm not.

I'm arguing against the fact that a poster on here is calling Stiverne one of the top 2 or 3 fighters on planet earth.

I couldn't give a toss what anyone thinks about Haye.

Lol! Bum Squad's bums gonna hate Bellew more than they already do just for speaking truth. Wilder's resume is a joke everyone knows it that's why these clowns get so defensive.

Beating goofy TOE Haye means nothing in boxing circles

All Bellew is remembered for is getting demolished humiliated and destroyed by Adonis Stevenson and KO'd violently. Bellew's thin boxing resume is thinner than geeky Bellew's pencil thin neck. Bellew is perceived in boxing as a JOKE.

Lol even before gayemaker bellew had a much better resume.

His title victory at cruiserweight and then defense against Flores.

          And cleverly...

And even doe he lost he still fought Stevenson.

Lol BJ Flores is literally better than anyone Wilder has fought at the professional level.

Well, Flores and Stiverne are about the same level.

So even without the Gayemaker Bellew ****s on Wilder's resume. Takes an absolute dump on it.

Look doe, even doe I'm happy as the next man Bellew pounded the **** out of Gayemaker, nobody is kidding themselves that Gayemaker was literally on one leg..

Tired of Bellew acting like he legitimately beat Gaye.

Lol still I'm glad that the record books states Bellew beat Gaye, and Bellew got to pound the crap out of him..

But come on enough is enough stop acting like it actually counts for **** lol..

2015 Stiverne would have been favored over 2017 Haye for sure. 2015 Stiverne was considered one of the absolute best heavyweights in the world by the sport's top experts. 2017 Haye was considered an irrelevant sideshow by the sport's top experts and they were proven correct when he was knocked out by a blown up cruiserweight who had been knocked out at light heavyweight.

I'm not trying to play up anything. I'm sorry that facts bother you. The fact is that Stiverne was #2 in the Ring ratings, #3 in the Boxing Scene ratings and #3 in the TBRB ratings when he was dominated by Wilder.

                Stop trying to rewrite history.

Are you seriously willing to stand by that comment, given, just off the top of my head, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Klitshcko, Canelo, GGG, Rigondeaux, Gonzalez, Bradley, Kovalev, Cotto, Ward etc were all in or around the top 10 P4P at the time?
How many of those fighters would have been betting favorites over Stiverne?

So because somebody is bigger they automatically have to be better? You seriously said that BERMANE STIVERNE is better than Ward, Kovalev, Pacquiao. Jesus Christ.

I'm sick and tired of this very average fighter. Even though I'd hate to see Wilder against Bellew cause I want Wilder to take on a top fighter next. It would actually be wonderful to see Wilder smoke Bellew in one round.
