That is absolutely wrong. Naz is a complete bull****ter about that and Barrera had his number. Watch the fight - Barrera could read Hamed like a book and knew exactly how and when to hit him.

They could've had a trilogy and Barrera would've won every time.

Happy for Barrera and well deserved.

Funny how back then when he fought Hamed I couldn't stand Hamed back then. I hated Prince and wanted someone to whoop him. When Barrera beat him I was so glad, even though I wanted Morales to be the one to beat him first.

But now all these years later I really appreciate the entertainment, showmanship and the fact that Hamed always tried to go for the knockout even though he was clowning and entertaining. Hamed was badass. We need another entertainer like him today.

Highlights of what I didn't appreciate back then but really appreciate now today:

Morales 3 was bigger imo. Hamed was a beast though.

Naseem Hamed vs Barrera Documentary ("Little Prince - Big Fight")

"...they're expecting us to come over from England and be dominated by them, ya'll know whah I mean, thas nah happening, that's just not happening man."

"... you see that big mountain over there, that's where Barrera is training, yep, that's why we're here in the warm (Palm Springs) and he's up there in the cold."

I think this was just a real lowkey shot at Morales. I know they don't hate each other anymore, but MAB has said a lot of times that Morales III was the best win of his career and most satisfying.

God bless both Morales and MAB for that.

Naz win might be his best because of the upset factor, but either Morales win is better for his legacy IMO.. Partly because we kind of now view Naz differently now in a negative way (Even though I disagree with people trying to do it)

In this fight Barrera really whooped Hameds ass like he was a little boy.

As far as I know, Barrera wasn't at fault for any of the proposed theories which try to explain Hamed's losing the fight due to various pre fight failures, for example there's "he didn't train enough. Emmanuel Stewart ruined his style..." so on, so forth. They're probably all true to some degree. But, again, not Barrera's fault.

The Morales 3 fight itself was better for sure.

But Barrera beating Hamed the way he did has to be one of the most satisfying fights to watch.
