That tell you how much Bob Arum really wanted to make the fight. lol

I guess after what Rigo did to his previous Star I feel him. I mean Salido a few fight before already spoiled his plans.
You do realize that a half million dollars is still a lot of money for a Super Bantamweight, right? Not to mention Loma offered a half million $ win bonus to Rigo if he won, which would've been 1 million dollars for Rigo if he pulled it out, his highest career payday (next highest was Donaire in which he made 750k in an in-house fight). Smaller fighters in general make much less money unless they go over to Japan to fight, especially when they can't draw; Rigo can't, Loma couldn't at the time either and still isn't what you'd call a big draw. At least Loma is now a main event headliner while Rigo is still basically an undercard fighter. If Salido spoiled Bob's plans then how come Loma immediately fought again for that vacant belt (that Salido gave up) and won it? He defended it three times, moved up, won the same WBO title in a higher division (SFW) and has now defended it twice against Walters and Sosa. You Rigo fans forget that it was actually Walters that ruined Donaire and not Rigo. Walters finished him brutally and he's never been the same since.

Rigo vs Loma was agreed to and Loma had to pull out of camp after Rigo demanded more money than he initially agreed to. He got cold feet and backed out. Loma called his bluff. Enough said.

      Excuse just like Rigo said.

Rigo did not agree to any money he agree to the terms on the fight. Money negotiation came later.

Btw forget about bonus in boxing that's garbage, I remember the same Bob Arum who offer a bonus with another Cuban Richard Abril and Brando Rios, Rios didn't make weight and Abril straight up got ROB, guess what Arum keep the bonus for him.

Bonus in boxing is the biggest BS ever with a robbery happening every week. Money on front just like he did vs Donaire.

      Straight ducking and excuses.

JUst so people are away if he current circumstances provided by Keith Idec, Arum said that Rigondeaux and camp asked for $3million to fight Loma...

Let's see if boxing' reporters do their part to see if such statements were true by Arum

Speak for yourself. FFS - you even deny people the right to an opinion - isn't that fascism?

Anyway, if he moved up to fight Mares or LSC that would create a lot of interest. Even this Flores guy is a solid competitor.

$500k is great money for Rigondeaux. How much did he get against Jazza ****ens and Drian Francisco? If he truly thought he could beat Loma he would have taken it

He should try and face Rey Vargas. That's a good fight

It's too bad Rigo doesn't speak English and does all the WWE acts some boxers do to get the attention to a fight. People paid to see Mayweather because of all the theatrics he brought to the press conferences. A lot of people forget that Floyd was pretty much unknown until he fought Oscare De La Huye! I understand it's business and if you are a boring ass fighter no one will pay to see you. Pernell one of the purist boxers in history only had 4 PPV even when he was considered the best pound for pound. It's like a wrestling world, you are not considered great if you don't put enough asses in those seats. Plain and simple you don't sell, no one will know who you are. You are boring no one will pay to see you show us what a great boxer you are. Only true fans appreciate your art Rigo!

But also he has not impressed beacuse his opponents ran when feel his power and he failed to chase they. As soon someone come to fight Rigo distroy them like the last one with the broken jaw. Thats terrifying to see.

I don't question his ability. I think worlds of him, but he does not please the masses. Also he can win a 12 round fight throwing a little over 300 punches, not fun to watch
