Exactly what the Cuban wanted in his social media exchanges with the Ukrainian superstar. $500K. Loma calls his bluff and all of a sudden the beggar was playing chooser. He wanted more than what he initially asked for. Can't even talk him out of it. He was hysterical. You can imagine the hostile look in his dry unsmiling face while he was cursing Arum. He's got a self-entitled behavior. He thinks the world owes him something.

Rigondeuax has been the Champ for years now. How many fighters has ran from him, frampton, st+, mares, quigg. So I ask you mandatory for whom? They were supposed to be his mandatory after he dismantled nonito.

That's why it's not even necessary to avoid this guy. When you call his bluff he overprices himself all of a sudden. Quigg should call this guy's bluff and see what happens.
No he did not, he didn't agree to 124 catch weight, and say no to 126, 10 pounds hydration clause. I don't know about the money because that is uncle bob territory, actually nobody knows, only bob knows...

He's been talking about moving up to featherweight so he needs to be in a position to fight the winner between santa Cruz and mares. Hes even mentioned lomachenko yet hes only done a round and a half in 18 months. He just isn't active enough and it's a shame because he's so good. Hopefully he comes through against flores and the big fights happen.

Rigondeaux is ducked by every single fighter in such a way that it's ridiculous. Literally the whole division moved up just not to fight him. They'd rather fight the devil himself better than rigo. Bunch of cowards.

Would you consider a low-ball offer over pricing?? And he said recently that he would fight the weight they want, so.......

Actually rigo's camp said they got low-balled & offered 5 hundred thousand, bob creating a way to not make the fight happen....Reminds me of when bob wanted 50/50 with Floyd & #48 then saying Floyd didn't want to fight when we all know #48 never made the $ Floyd has and Floyd was undefeated.

Rigondeaux had his chance to fight Lomachenko in what would've been a history making match-up. Never before has there been two double Olympic champions fighting each other. He had reservations then after Loma called his bluff so imagine what kind of reservations he'd have now.

Stylistically Loma is a very bad match-up for Rigo. He's much more versatile, dynamic and a far more complete fighter than Rigo on top of being bigger, stronger and more powerful. Rigo has an edge in speed but so did Gary Russell Jr over Loma. That big left of Rigo's would be missing its target, you can't throw one big punch at a time and expect to beat Loma that way or look to counter him all night because it's predictable. Loma would walk him down with intelligent pressure, cut the ring off, lead to create openings and counter his counterpunching attempts. He'd set the pace and actually be able to use his work rate due to fighting consistently off angles (both are southpaws but Loma can switch) and utilizing a full punch selection. Loma is almost impossible to read.

Rigo also flat out doesn't have the chin to contend with Loma. He still doesn't have an inside game and Loma is better at every range, outside, mid and inside and he controls distance and maintains it better too. He also has the defense, fight IQ and ringcraft required to beat Rigo, things that Donaire didn't have years ago when they fought (and he was still knocked down). Rigo makes plenty of mistakes that his fans ignore while Loma hardly ever makes any these days. Rigo is also getting old (36, will be 37 this year) and nearing the end of his career. He needs to stop talking about Loma.

                      Yet, they offer him 500k.

That tell you how much Bob Arum really wanted to make the fight. lol

I guess after what Rigo did to his previous Star I feel him. I mean Salido a few fight before already spoiled his plans.
