No way WME-IMG would let this fight get away. Too much $$$
Maybe. It all depends on the terms. We don't even know if Floyd seriously wants this fight on fair terms or is just going to go for the jugular in negotiations..

PBC doesn't need to be "kept alive". LOL. Like the last poster said, Ari may be realizing the UFC business is overrated, maybe boxing is worth a shot. People kept saying WME-IMG was always going to bring the UFC some huge TV deal, maybe now the PBC can get one too,,

They've already agreed on the money split. If Ari is in the room with Al, it's down to production, promotion, and analytics.

These guys aren't some basic boxing business men. Both have sold and built multi million/billion dollar businesses. They're not wasting time negotiating money. That's likely the easiest term to work out.

The trick here is how much involvement the UFC will have in promotion...that's the critical issue. Ari likely wants UFC to have a bigger role than most people would assume.

No way in hell they cut Dana out of that even if they publicly state they did. I get that Ari and Haymon are the bosses in the equation but to say that Dana is completely removed would make Ari as dumb@zz businessman which we all know he isn't. Dana is not the lead on this but he's involved somewhere in that mix. Same as Leonard, both are there involved.

Yeah, his role is to talk up the fight and do the media circuit per usual. UFC has a corporate staff now.
