what really was wards 'prime'. He nearly lost to froch, people forget that, he won by one round. Dawson was never much good (pascal beat him ffs and stevenson took him out in a round) and kessler was damaged goods after calzaghe played with him. His CV and skills are incredibly overrated.

Excellent post. Wards prime was strongarming a dying mans FAMILY with thugs after losing in court twice.....The dishonorable CoWard hasnt had a fight he actually boxed clean except a weight drained Dawson I would have knocked out.

* Kovalev could not hit Ward with his best punch
* Ward cannot improve

the first point is correct, and a problem for Team Kovalev..... and the second point is wrong, but also a problem for Team Kovalev

Only problem for kov was a biased and incompetent black referee and bought judges. Tony Weeks wont allow the fouls and Ward will be left in an ocean of punches without the life raft of holding.

The truth is, Ward has to make more adjustments in the rematch than Kovalev. Ward was seen as the far superior boxer and that wasn't the case in the first fight. He was outboxed for the first half of the fight and got dropped and ****** up.

All Kov needs to do is work on his stamina. He can beat Ward with the same game plan he had in the first fight. I don't see Ward beating Kovalev if he comes in with the same game plan he had.
