Stop with this fanboy crap though people
Dude, what the hell are you talking about? Kovalev's strategy was to initiate the clinches to neutralize Ward on the inside, yet the ONLY reason cited for Ward winning the fight was his "master inside work".

Talk about being blind, go look in the mirror. Ward ducks his head and run forward, and people are saying that's how Kovalev 'initiated' the clinches? What was he supposed to do? Get speared and fall down? Play at being a matador?

Kovalev played Ward's game and wrestled with him, but to say he was the one initiating the clinches is some bat**** crazy stuff. Might as well start calling Rigondeux a stiff, Golovkin a 2nd coming of Whittaker and Joshua modeling his game after Ward.

If you are saying none of the clinches were initiated by Kovalev then you're the type of daft fanboy i'm talking about. I haven't seen anyone say his great inside work won the fight, i've seen people say his body punching did.

If all you saw was Ward running in with his head down then we have nothing more to talk about. Go schedule an optometry appointment

What I have learned is that people will desperately try to rely on a narrative when confronted with evidence.

Ward could be Molina. It wouldn't change the fact that Kovalev initiated clinches when Ward got inside.
