What I learned from Ward-Kovalev threads this week.....

Smh, i know a lot of people dislike Ward, but to act like Kovalev didn't initiate any clinches in that fight shows how blind people are. I thought it was an excellent strategy to neutralize Ward on the inside, and i had Kovelev winning.

Another way to put it is like this:

1) Andre Ward fans accept Ward is a CONSISTENT cheater (indirectly without ever directly admitting it).

2) Sergey Kovalev cheated in his only one fight against Andre Ward because it was used as a counter response to Andre Ward initiating the cheating first.

3) Therefore, Sergey Kovalev also deserves to be criticized as much as Andre Ward.

That's an absurd logical fallacy by the name of 'FALSE EQUIVALENCY'. A boxer (Sergey Kovalev) who cheats in only one of his fights out of 30 or more fights because he was doing it as a counter response to his opponent (Andre Ward) initiating the cheating by being the first to cheat isn't the same as Andre Ward CONSISTENTLY initiating the cheating in every SINGLE one of his fights against top caliber opposition.

So no, Sergey Kovalev doesn't deserve the criticism that Andre Ward does. Their situation isn't the same (as I've already explained). Saying otherwise is a logical fallacy by the name of 'False Equivalency'.

If anything, this actually exposes Andre Ward an an even bigger cheater as nobody else (none of Sergey Kovalev's past opponents) have ever cheated the way Andre Ward did against Sergey Kovalev when you take into consideration that Kovalev never had to cheat against any of his past opponents like he did against Andre Ward.

Kovalev is just a scrawny Cruiser with power that can conveniently make LHW. I remember the days when Wlad ''haters'' (or those who pretend to be objective in saying that Ward just clinches), would say the same thing about him. When Fury beat Wlad, somehow Wlad's clinching theory just vanished from the narrative. In fact, the Joshua fight was also different in that Wlad has miraculously been exempt from clinching theory even though his resume proves it...

To conclude, it seems rather normal for fight fans to want the other to lose. reminds me of video games back in the 80s where every once in a while you choose a different team and play for another day. When Ward wins again and faces Bellew for the WBC Cruiser it will happen again... the same GGG fans that hated on Chavez Jr. with all the ducking theory were the same ones rooting for Chavez Jr. to beat Nelo... therefore, if Ward vs Stevenson happens, expect the Ward haters to wants Adonis to win, even they hammered Adonis for ''ducking Kova.''

What the fark was everybody watching. Ward comes in head down looking to land the back of the head uppercut on Kovalev or the headbutt in the testicles 100 times a round and Kov ties him up or pushes his head down.

Why is ever ***** acting like Kov had to actually chase this guy to hold him. Ward was powering in doing some ugly as hell non boxing crap all night.
