You're right. He did try to find out at MW and looked horrible. His style depends on using his size to manhandle fighters. He's not at all small.

This whole fight will be decided on whether the referee makes Ward fight or allows his to punch, grab and hold all night as he did in the first fight. Watching the first fight again you can see Ward was terrified of Kovlev's power and grabbed and held on for dear life while the referee looked at the lights or the crowd and somehow failed to notice any of it. It became pretty apparent the fix was in

Just because he fought at 178 doesn't mean he weighed 178. He didn't.

This article obviously wasn't meant for fans, it's to get under Kov's skin.

Ward seems to be saviing the action for outside ring now because in ring he won't bring much.
Quite witty is team ward they talk good fight.
Wards response to him hitting g like girl was kov might be fooling some but noit him he heard his gruntuing to boidyshots?

For Ward to smash Kovalev would depend on Kovalev being incredibly bad and not Ward being exceptional.

Kov just has to be slightly more aggressive than he was in first fight and come in with better endurance (not too sure that is possible). Ward needs the referees to be on his side again, he needs to have quicker feet and hand speed, needs to bull-rush Kovalev the same and hope that he can have the same success.

Ward has more to do. The intrigue is if Kov will come in badly prepared. I hope not, I hope it is a better fight than the first one as in more entertaining.

What's funny is, Kov negated much of Ward's fouling style. Ward didn't really adjust, Kov just got tired from all the wrestling. Ward did take advantage, he did little himself after the first 6 rounds.

Posting a video from an openly racist white supremist who talks about his hatred for black people in all of his videos proves nothing.
