This fighgt reminds me of Hagler - Hearns in terms of the A side fighter moving up to face the MW king, after having lost to boxing's top draw years prior.

However, unlike Hearns, Canelo doesn't have that KO potential. Don't think he'll go out on a stretcher like Hearns did (because he'll fight smarter), but I do see him losing by stoppage.

Yeah, the two little sentences where GGG says that Floyd is not scared of him but the fight is impossible and will never, ever happen. Gotta love this place!

Agreed, IMO it's if Canelo can deal.with the blows and if he can then Golovkin is in for a lonnnng nite!

Golovkin tucks his chin in and has a squat like stance which is why he's open to the uppercut, Canelo will make him eat some really good ones!

Dont be surprised if Canelo demonstrates more head control or ties up more to make Golovkin reset or frustrate his rhythm!

I saw Golovkin get a but frustrated at times when he had Jacobs on the ropes and Jacobs tied him up!

Also no has knocked out Chavez jr, not even a full fledged lightheavy in Fonfara did, Chavez just injured his leg and quit on his stool!

Not to mention that was Canelo's first fight above 155 so who knows how his body will adjust to this being his second!

I wouldn't be surprised if GGG hurts Canelo but what happens if he does and doesn't finish him then Canelo adjusts and starts countering him!

Golovkin seems like the type he'll just bring more pressure if your outboxing him and that plays into a counter punchers hand!

Canelo has the faster hands, better combos and is younger plus more experience! As well as he can add somethin new to his game!

It's going to be a very interesting fight that should live up to the hype. I think GGG is going to win. We'll find out this Sept!

I've noticed there is a rule on boxing forums. Anyone who has expert, pro, genius, logic, truth, basically anything that implies some kind of knowledge of the sport in their username. 99 times out of 100 they are the biggest idiots on the forum.

All amazing points spot on. Floyd has no dignity or honor to reward the sport of BOXING and its fans with such a challenge because CoWards do not face those who are better than them. GGG is every fighter Floyd has ducked in the past all rolled into one. You heard his daddy already admit defeat. He and many other's warned him long ago to stay away from that man. No amount of money will allow floyds ego to get sacrificed to a white man. FLOYD knows his casual fanboys will never forgive him for being destroyed by their greatest fear and enemy in life.

I dont see if Canelo loses he will ask for rematch,unless is a very very close fight..Question,what happens if GGG wins(fans) but loses in score cards,will canelo suffer in popularity,as many will say it was a gift?
