Not really, he was always talking up Ward like he was a great fighter, saying he's undefeated and a gold medalist and how he'll be the toughest fight of his career!

This was before the fight and how it turnt out and his attitude towards Ward is reasonable now!

I agree, he doesnt need to wrestle with Ward it's a clever tactic to sap the energy of guys!

He can still box but he just needs to fight off the backfoot more and throw lot more jabs and uppercuts and body shots since Ward has to come to him to get on the inside and make something happen!
