maybe u should put 18k on broner?I can't believe people think a guy who's best win is Rocky Martinez at 130 is going to beat a full blown welterweight who's dropped iron chin guys like Shawn Porter, Grandos would probably beat Mikey Garcia at 140, Broner was also a P4P fighter fighting little guys at 126-135, he moved up and lost against the first power puncher (Maidana), it seems like Deja Vu imo

Not an easy fight for Garcia.
Broner is like a predator trying to eat a prey. He moves cautiously and strikes when it's safe to do so, or when the prey is tired of fighting and defending.
That's pretty much it. He's not a counter puncher and rarely trades like most fighters do. Well, it's rare to see Gatti Ward types of exchanges or Morales Barrera nowadays.
These days it's always a see-saw. Fighter only throws when the other is done throwing. Or the kind that disrupts a developing exchange by brawling that ends up in a clinch. Similar to how Spence or Porter brawl their way to a clinch, instead of staying in the pocket after throwing, move head, duck, step backwards, throw, etc., thus a clean exchange, which doesn't necessarily mean the punches land their targets. Brawling your way inside is a clear avoidance of a clean exchange because the opponent has superior boxing skill.Last edited by rickJen; 06-07-2017, 08:15 AM.Comment

I think Garcia wins a ud. Broner has a solid chin and recovers fairly quickly from being hurt. He went the full 12 rounds with hard punchers Maidana and Porter and they are much bigger than Mikey and probably hit harder than Mikey.Comment

Mikey is the consummate professional. He is disciplined, focused and determined. He take his livelihood very seriously.
For example: He keeps himself in shape, out of trouble, off the streets and in the gym. The very same cannot be said about Adrien Broner however.
His fast-living is eventually going to catch up with him and will likely become his own undoing. He has allowed the money, glory and fame to all go to his head. He isn't hungry anymore.
This fight is going to come down to the fighter who wants it the most and that's sure as hell ain't Adrien Broner.Comment

Brandon Rios is on record as saying that the hardest he has ever been hit has been by Mikey Garcia. He says that Garcia hits harder than Maidana. Both Mikey and Rios have sparred many rounds with Maidana.
So if Mikey hits harder than Maidana, has better timing and accuracy.
Its going to be a long night for Broner.Comment
