Hennessy promotes Furry Fluff and the Acne Kid, Warren was just their for the tv deal until they rode their way to sky sports for the one off Klitschko fight before hookin back up with Warren and his channel for what would have been their next fights.
Like Denium says, the IBF just be there for the money. I'd have liked to have seen Pulev given his chance as he's waiting, surely Ortiz must jump ahead of Pulev now if he's prepared to take step aside money or the governing body that hasn't looked out for their fighters fight interests and just their own/and his bank account I don't see why Ortiz should be made to wait.Comment

The IBF does not allow step aside fees.
Pulev's promoter knows there is way more money to be made fighting Joshua for the unified championship than fighting Takam for the vacant IBF title. Which is why Sauerland wasn't super aggressive about trying to force an immediate purse bid like Duva was.Comment

So am guessing they would be willing to wait then? The IBF does not allow step aside fees.

Doesn't matter if they're willing now, the exception has been granted.
Whereas with Fury, Duva immediately called for a purse bid because she wanted Fury to be stripped and Fury's team was too ****** to file for an exemption before Duva demanded a purse bid.Comment

Thank you for this info. But I disagree with your view on fighting Takam ; Carlos is a much easier fight and winning the IBF title would make Pulev champion which means he would be unifying : now in the scenario that you present Pulev would be coming in as a challenger so I don't see how this benefits him -- and to make matters worse you say he got no money?! WOW! how embarrassing. The IBF does not allow step aside fees.
