The rest you may have a point, but Broner hasn't looked good in his last couple fights and those guys weren't volume fighters.

Mikey is also better technically than anyone he's faced.
He hasn't "looked good" in his last couple fights compared to what? Since the Chino fight, outside of Granados fight, he's beaten everyone he's fought by relatively wide margins. Barring the Porter loss of course.

As for who he beat at lightweight. Obviously, his best win is Tony Demarco. A lot of people turn their noses up at that win. But he beat Demarco whdn Tony was arguably the best lightweight in the world. And to this day, no one has dismantled Demarco the way Bronee did outside of Edwin Valero, who's one of the most talented fighters we've seen in the last decade.

Either way, my post was more about this being a good style matchup for Broner. Broner likes to walk his opponent down beating him up to the head and body. And he mixes in catch-n-shoot countering while doing it. And he's been at his best against smaller guys. Mikey is a smaller guy. Broner also likes to fight at a slow pace. He'll be able to do that against Mikey. And the biggest potential X factor is that against a smaller guy, Broner's power probably comes back into play. Broner was a big puncher as a lightweight. And he hasn't carried that up the scale. The other question is will Mikey carry his power up? Yes, he's technically better than anybody Bronee has fought. And he's technically superior to Broner. But if Mikey can't hurt Broner, he's gonna have to fight a very clean fight to win. And that's pretty tough to do against a guy that's bigger, faster, stronger, and who's pretty talented himself. They make weight classes for a reason.

He doesn't lose because of dedication or laziness or anything besides being worse than those that beat him. That's why he barely squeaks by mediocre fighters, because he's barely above average himself.
Hit the nail on the head. Thank you

While you can always remove an African American from the ******, it is nigh impossible to remove the ****** from the African American. Herein lies the dilemma young AB finds himself in.

Broner gets overwhelmed by volume. Volume coming from guys that are stronger than him and can't keep off him. Mikey's gonna allow Broner to fight at the pace Adrien wants to fight at. And if Mikey can't hurt Broner. Adrien is gonna be able to walk him down and beat him up.
He was a hypejob lightweight whose best ****ing victory was Antonio Demarco. He looked like **** against mediocre fighters at lightweight and below, and not just guys who overwhelmed him with volume. Porter didn't just beat him with volume, he outboxed him and used his jab to destroy whatever momentum existed the 2-3 times Broner actually managed to win a round. Paulie isn't stronger, he just had movement and that was enough to give Broner huge problems.

Broner struggles with anyone who has half a boxing brain and gives him something to think about. Mikey Garcia is one of the most skilled fighters in the sport. He is going to kick Broner's ass.

Outside of Edwin Valero (who if he wasn't one of the biggest head cases boxing has ever seen would have been a perennial P4P elite), who has beaten Demarco as impressively as Broner?

Young, ****** & wild... waste of talent
you hit it right on the money.
but once he was in with some elite level, he look ordinary. he does have talent, but at that level everybody does. he needs to be more consistent and have a better punch output. he tends to get outworked.

Broner is at his best fighting at 140. Too bad he hasn't been able to make the weight since losing to Porter.

I would like to use this platform to shed some light & pay my respects to the 1st Fighter to Beat Adrien "The Problem" Broner , but got robbed of his Victory by the Judges that night. That fighter ladies & gentleman is The Great World Champion Savage Warrior/Gladiator DANIEL PONCE DELEON.

I scored the fight in favor of DANIEL PONCE DELEON 8 rounds to 4.
