Comments Thread For: Spence is Not Sure Why Pacquiao is Being Overlooked at 147

IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence (22-0, 19 KOs) has no idea why a lot of fans, and experts, are overlooking Manny Pacquiao as a serious force in there welterweight division. Pacquiao, 38-years-old, was at one time the biggest target in the welterweight division. But ever since he was defeated by Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May of 2015, it appears the majority of the division is overlooking him. They are more focused on fighting each other.

      Only casuals are overlooking him

Just recently, the list of boxers calling him out is ridiculous, matthysse, broner, mikey, crawford, thurman, khan, brook, even mcgregor, the list goes on and on

Most guys dont waste their time because they know damn well Arum wont make the fights. He wont even put him in the ring with Crawford for the last two years and Crawford has a long-term contract with Arum.

The reason he's being overlooked, and rightfully so, is because he's fighting f**king Jeff Horn. Point blank period. If he was still trying to prove that he's one of the best (or THE best) welters and fighting the top dogs then he'd be factored into the big picture.

But when everybody who follows the sport see you opting to fight virtual unknowns like Jeff Horn then you leave the masses with no other option but to no longer take you seriously. At least until further notice.

REason for being overlooked is simple, the guy was sold at the back of Mayweather so when he was beaten many just thought he was useless. Even now they are trying to sell Pacquiao by constantly mentioning that he will beat Mayweather in a rematch.

It's what manny wants. So he can continue his money grabbing "bums around the world tour" manny wants cash out and face as weak opposition as possible so being overlooked suits him.
