Well it's embarrassing. Just look at the opponents he's faced since Chad Dawson.

Eleider Alvarez, who I think is an average fighter, would be his best opponent in 4 years.

      Stevenson is a joke.

I don't know what the hell he is waiting for, he's 39 years old about to be 40 in September. I'm close to referring him as a bum.

since his breakout win over Dawson, who really honestly already likely had his soul extracted away from him by Andre Ward, here's his hit list:

          Tavoris Cloud
          Tony Bellew
          Andrzej Fonfara
          Dmitry Sukhotskiy
          Sakio Bika
          Tommy Karpency
          Thomas Williams Jr
          Andrzej Fonfara

Bellew was a nice win. Cloud? Fonfara twice? Moderate wins. I guess Bika could arguably qualify as a borderline moderate win, too. The rest...weak.

But not one A level opponent among that list.

Adonis Stevenson is treading on bum status.

He's 39 years old about to be 40 in September. He better step up his comp asap.

Ward vs Kovalev winner, Beterbiev, Gvozdyk.

Even Joe Smith Jr. would be a start.....SMH

Stevenson is about to be 40 and he's been fighting for a long time now so he needs to go straight for the Ward-Kovalev winner. Enough is enough already.

LMFAO the best part was when Stevenson said "I'm King At 175" or some **** that Sam Watson told him to say and Jim Gray replied "You have fought only 4 Times In 3 Years" then looks over at Sam Watson

Make no mistake, Stevenson CAN FIGHT and with that Power absolutely he has a chance vs Ward and Kovalev. However, since signing with Haymon he has been taking it very lightly as far as not fighting much and when he does fight it is usually against somebody nobody wants to see him fight

I wish people would answer the question, when asked who they want next, instead of replying that it's up to Al Haymon (or whoever their promoter is). Be a man, and make your own decisions!

Jim Gray has never been afraid to be rude to boxers and ask them tough and sometimes insulting questions. Stevenson isn't the first champion he has really pissed off. Of course Stevenson hasn't been fighting very good opponents lately or fighting very often. He could and should do better. He should give Alvarez his deserved title shot and knock him out.
