i agree harrison has no chance here, i know marquez has took some stick over the pac affair, but lets not doubt his skills, he's still a fantastic fighter.

WBO featherweight champ Scott "The Real McCoy" Harrison (23-2-2), has been offered a unification fight with WBA/IBF featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (43-2-1). The bout could take place as soon as May 7th in Las Vegas, and has already been approved by team Marquez. Trainer/manager of Team Marquez, Ignacio "Nacho" Beristain, stated that with this fight, Marquez would finish his contract with Top Rank, although he also stated that he would not stop listening to offers to renew the contract with Top Rank. Beristain also recognizes the great opportunity for his fighter, because of the chance to win a third title and unify the division "The only other belt that would be lacking would only be the WBC, which would not be impossible to dispute for it." Marquez had been working very hard training for his proposed fight against Manny Pacquiao, however when that fight fell through, Beristain ordered him to rest and only dedicate himself to recreational training. "This coming week he will be here in the gym," stated Beristain.

Can't see him having any problems with pryce, might be fighting for European title later this year his trainer was saying.

Harrison must be dreaming while whishing for this fight. Bet Harrison wants this fight in his hometown. Anyway, advance congratulations to JMM for simplifying further the belts if this one really pushes through.

Oh don't worry. Marquez will take care of business with Harrison and then he'll finish the boxing clinic he put on PacMan for those last 10 rounds.
