Why do people keep bringing Smith Jr in the equation ?... I mean he's the glorified Buster Douglas of the 21st century... Lucky for him, but come on guys, let's be serious here ...

It was a recent example of Fonfara starting fast. It was different because Smith's power wasn't completely proven, but if Fonfara looked at his record before-hand, he probably would've been a tad more cautious. Fonfara brought the same game-plan against someone whom he already knew had big-time power, but had even worse defense. Fonfara was fighting like he didn't respect Adonis' power, so he deserved to get KO'ed.

come on man. You can't be serious. He loses to both badly. Don't get gassed over him beating up on lower tier fighters.

Based on Ward-Kovalev 1, Stevenson annihilates both those fools within six rounds or less.

What a garbage fight. I think Fonfari was there to get a paycheck. The punches that put him down in the 1st weren't even solid. Fonfari should reach into his pocket and give each fan their money back.

Stevenson is a one handed fighter he is not Manny Paq. So yes it should of been an easy game plan to follow considering Fonfara had been 12 rds with Stevenson before. All he had to do was circle to Stevenson's right, use his jab, use his straight right hand. But obviously Hunter and Fonfara did not make any game plan. If you think Stevenson is some awesome, great fighter then why has he only fought bums for 4yrs. I guess you are easily impressed by bums getting knocked out by Stevenson bcuz he is no Superman.

His legacy is beating an already over the hill Chad Dawson, and a fringe contender in Fonfara twice,that is it.

You left out his victory over former champ Cloud, future cruiserweight champ, Tony Bellew, and his being named the 2013 fighter of the year. You're also forgetting his sensational KO-run at 168 that caused Champ Carl Froch to avoid fighting Stevenson when Superman was his mandatory. The WBC let Adonis fight Chad Dawson for a title at 175, instead of forcing Froch to get knocked-out at 168. Adonis is not even a natural light heavyweight, he became one out of opportunity, and he's obviously one of the top 3, if not number 1 at the weight. Give the devil his due.

He didn't destroy him in two rounds. He destroyed him the the second round.

Hunter told Fonfara not to fight and play defense the whole round. I don't think I've ever heard a trainer tell a fighter that. And the crazy part is Fonfara didn't listen to him and he stopped the fight.

Stevenson's power is scary. He is capable of KO'ing Kovalev or Ward but I don't think he could outbox them. The other thing is his offense is so simple. Reminds me of Klitschko under Steward. Except he has legitimate power for his size.

Lol Wlad is one of the hardest punching heavies of all time and has tons of one punch KO's. More than Stevenson by a long way.
