Spence vs Pacquiao on the horizon...could this be why Pac vs Broner never finalized?

It never happened cause broner wants too much money. And arum won't put pac up against someone that can beat him. Danny and broner matchup well with pac. Thurman and Spence are too risky

It even worked for Shannon Briggs. He didn't get the Klitschko fight but he put himself in position to fight an eliminator and he's probably more mainstream known than Spence Jr and Terence Crawford. It's cool to talk to the boxing channels and writers but if you wanna become more famous you gotta put yourself out there.

To put it simply, Arum wants Pac to lose against any TR fighter and doesn't want him to lose against any non-TR fighter (unless it's against Mayweather where he'll make lots of dough).

So the Spence fight will never happen, unless Spence signs with TR.

There are some big fights for Pac with PBC guys (bigger than Vargas and Horn anyway), but Arum's business mo seems to be not to risk helping his competitors in any way, even when he could make more money out of it.

NEVER! I think the only young fighters who will get a shot a Pacquiao will be another Top Rank Guy! So that is either Terrance Crawford, or maybe even Lomachenko at a catch weight or something crazy. But Spence Jr or with Thurman, somebody outside of Top Rank Circle? I don't think that will EVER HAPPEN!

Arum is not going to send out Pacquiao to make some other fighter a star off of his back who is not with Top Rank!

Exactly! Posted the same thing basically but did not see your Post but yes I agree. When Pacquiao is done and ready to step away Arum throws him in with Crawford or maybe even Lomachenko at a Catchweight. In Fact I think Lomachenko might be more likely as crazy as that sounds because he is currently at 130 but yeah I do think Loma might have the best chance at getting a shot at Pacquiao OVER Crawford!

I voted for the middle option, not because it should not happen but because Arum would never feed Pac to Spence when he has Crawford sitting there waiting to make the jump to stardom. A fight with Pac could do that for Crawford so there is no way in hell Arum does this fight.
