Comments Thread For: Jean Pascal: I Know I Still Have It; My Tank Is Not Empty!

Jean Pascal recognizes his place in his fight against Eleider Alvarez on Saturday night. Though only one year younger than Pascal, Alvarez is typically perceived as the fresher fighter, the light heavyweight contender from Quebec capable of knocking off WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson. Pascal's supposed role in their 12-round light heavyweight fight is that of a faded former champion who'll serve as another impressive conquest on Alvarez's record.

Got a lot of time for Pascal. Fought everybody he was supposed to and did so in action fights. Hope he can pull it out, tomorrow.

I like Jean Pascal, I will be pulling for him to get the upset tomorrow night. I haven't been all that impressed with Alvarez, if Jean still has something left (and I think he does) he can get this "W".

Pascal vs Stevenson would do good money in quebec. alavrez would do decent but not the same. it seems stevenson doesnt want to fight alvarez which would be fine if he wasnt fighting people that were less than him. I felt fonfara vs alvarez should have came.

Stevenson would take the pascal fight as they legit hate each other and he'd be paid a lot.

Maybe if Stevenson lost first but considering Pascal's recent record (two losses and a robbery victory) it would make Stevenson's dubious reputation even worse to be fighting Pascal right now.

Hopefully, this fight will put Alvarez over with the Canadian fans and then maybe Stevenson will fight him (if he gets past Fonfara).

I hope he has something left, just so that we get a good fight. Alvarez is a good fighter but Pascal can be awkward, unpredictable and gritty, maybe he can give him some trouble for the first half of the fight. But I thought he looked particularly faded in the 2nd Kovalev fight and those losses probably took their toll, I don't think he has a hard 12 round fight left in him tbh.
