Spence's "fans" don't watch his fight but they're quick to use his achievement as a trophy of their race.

If my memory is correct, this was on at 5:15 US Eastern Time on a premium channel on a day that was clear and about 75 degrees for most of the country. This is boxing. ESPN does not mention any upcoming fight that does not involve Arum or Loeffler. So riddle me this; how many watched Spence's previous fight? Over 6 million. That was following USA basketball in the Olympics on free network t.v.
I said from the beginning, it was plain ******ed to have this fight on Showtime. Even if it was on a regular time at night, when most casual fans look to see if boxing is on. This most definitely should have been on network t.v. Thurman's fights against Porter and Garcia were network t.v. Spence's fights against Bundu and Algieri were on network t.v.- including 6 million t.v. screens with the Algieri fight on it.
I suspect Thurman not wanting to face Spence may have played a role in who showed this fight. If Brook-Spence woulda been on network t.v. a Thurman-Spence fight could possibly be the first non Mayweather non Pac boxing match to reach a million ppvs. Putting the most talented up and comer, fan-friendly fighter on the planet on a fight on a premium channel at 5:15 in the afternoon was and is ******ed. For anyone who saw Spence beat Bundu, Algieri, and Brook and who saw Thurman beat Porter and Garcia, for these fans Spence-Thurman is the only fight to make in boxing right now. Instead the overwhelming majority of people who saw Spence destroy Algieri will have not watched him or heard his name in over a year is ridiculous.

A fight that's more comparable is santa cruz vs frampton ii, this year, which peaked at 643,000 views. A fight that took place during the nfl playoffs.
Yes, the canelo/smith did 300,000, but on ppv you dumbass. The replay a week later it did more than 200,000. In mexico he drew 18 million views. Spence can't get a fraction of that in his home country.
Put spence on ppv against a liam smith type and then compare the two.
You get ******er and ******er with each post.
