Murat Gassiev and Mairis Briedis as well as top contender Krzysztof Wlodarczyk

doesn't look too promising for this tournament imo.

at least half the cruiser titles in play + a top 10 contender confirmed from the get go doesn't bode well? the only real danger here is that you have a "Bute type player " racking up wins outside the tournament who has a claim to being the best.....that only happens if they fail to get Usyk, which is likely, but Ward and the 168lb divison certainly weren't hurt by the super six....

What's the score with Grogory Drozd these days. Is he done due to injury?

Very promising. If we get Gassiev vs Briedis out of it that's already a win in my book

                  Ay?

Wlodarczyk is a bit past it, but the other two are in the top 3 of the division along with Usyk.

Im surprised at these as i would have thought Briedis would be clearly top 3 after beating Huck.

Would be hopeful of seeing guys like Mchunu, Makabu, Duradola, Dorticos etc on the list as they dont draw big crowds. Glowacki would be great. Kudryashov too. Such a good division to do this in with so many evenly matched fighters in the top 10-15

Usyk would obviously be the dream but i cant see it. Would probably try and 'do a Bute' by hanging back and trying to fight the winner
