It sounded like it when I was watching, was a little shocked initially then the commentators refreshed my memory when they spoke about his ties to the area.

I get where you're coming from. I'm just glad he didn't go straight to Adonis & get starched because it would more than validate your first point about him being lucky. His handlers are taking the time to build his resume which IMO shows they're confident in him as a Boxer for the longer term.

I'm going to see how Fonfara fares tomorrow because to me he's ridden the Chavez Jr wave for way too long.
