Jackson seem to be goading Ward into being more aggressive in the rematch. Surely he can't think this will work.

      Why does it matter?

If he gassed then that means he either has to adjust in camp or adjust in the ring and fight at a different pace.

In the end, he has to adjust one way or another.

      So.....

Even if that were true, do you really think Kovalev has the ability to adapt. He seems to be pretty one dimensional, maybe two dimensional. Ward can adapt if he needs to and I think he has to fight differently than the last time in order to win.

Funny how Kovalev loses one close fight and it's all because of the judges. Now in the rematch, with completely different judges, the haters are already crying about the new judges before one punch has been thrown.

Probably because, again, theyre all american. Look at the brook spence fight. Only 1 of the 3 from the UK , which to me sounds like something that should be standard practice when world titles are at stake.

Effective aggression is only one of the criteria for scoring a fight.

Guys kovalev will dominate the rematch. Ward was getting destroyed in the beginning then basically fought the fight of his life to survive and get a decision he probably shouldnt have gotten. You really think thats gonna happen again be serious? Ward looked like he was in survival mode most of the fight be real here. Kovalev is just going to beat him down for a longer period this time.

Ward can only fight kovalev one way, greco roman wrestling. Kovalev is the far better long range fighter and has a better jab and timing. Ward isnt the super six ward anymore hes overrated now. Dude has no power at 175 and is ****ing slow, zero right hand as well only a jab, left hook and MMA wrestling. Stop with the notion that hes some master versatile fighter like floyd he isnt.

Otherwise, it's a matter of being better conditioned (not overtrained.)

Ward should be worrying about krusher's kickass jab. Of course we know his solution: tackle and hold.
I saw him ducking the jab and closing distance afterwards, where Kovalev would initiate a clinch to limit the inside fighting. That's what tired him out, the in fighting.
