Probably because, again, theyre all american. Look at the brook spence fight. Only 1 of the 3 from the UK , which to me sounds like something that should be standard practice when world titles are at stake.

That doesn't hold water because Kovalev's team agreed to all 3 judges and every time Kovalev has had a title fight in the US, all three judges were American. You can't scream judges as soon as you lose a close fight.

If effective aggression had been given the priority in the judge's minds that it always should be in a world title fight, Ward certainly wouldn't have been given the decision. A champion who displays effective aggression in defending his title should never lose the title to a pitty pat runner who manages to survive, IMHO.

Exactly my philosophy too. You fight the champion you have to take his title from him, not just manage to win the fight.
