Only real boxing fans want the best vs the best. Crawford would be a good fight for Pac and Arum. Could lose could win but it would sell! Mikey a good one also, but both Crawford and M. Garcia are at lighter weights. I'd rather see Pac vs Thurman right now.

Truth is, and I say this as a Pacquiao fan -- it's not about PPV numbers with Crawford. It's the fact that right here and now, a squarely in his prime Terence Crawford, against an end of the road Manny Pacquiao, is simply bad news for Pacquiao.

They're (Top Rank, Team Pacquiao) are trying to hold onto the last threads of a career that Manny has left, and if he gets beat down by Crawford (very likely possibility), that essentially would be the final nail in the coffin.

Is Danny Garcia a bigger draw than Crawford? Maybe, but I don't think it's by much, if it is at all. And now that Danny has an L on his ledger, who knows. Maybe Terence is out ahead of Danny now in that regard. Being an unbeaten fighter can be a pretty big drawing point for a fighter, and once that's gone, fans will move onto the next unbeaten future star.

The truth of the matter is, Danny is just a much, MUCH safer option. It's a very winnable fight for Pacquiao so long as he doesn't get caught with that left hook. If Crawford was as beatable as Danny is then Roach would be all for it. But...as good of a fighter as Danny Garcia is, he's nowhere near as dynamic as Terence Crawford.

I don't think so. Now that he finally has an official L on his ledger, I think they're in cash out mode. A fight with Manny Pacquiao is still the most profitable fight out there that he can get. I think they take it if it's offered this time.
