Just wondering if Showtime put out the numbers for the tv ratings

Are you serious? I thought it would do better than that. Spence got 5 Million + viewers against bundu on NBC. I thought he should get higher than 300k on Showtime even though it was a daytime broadcast. I was expecting double that.

thankfully showtime doesn't give a **** about the publicly released live linear number, which meant i could watch the fight live on showtime anytime on a tablet backstage at a different event i was broadcasting.

had it been an HBO event, i would have been blocked from watching on my tablet thanks to their obsession with propping up the linear #.

The 5m was smoke and mirrors sandwiched between day long Olympics coverage that did double digits. He was never going to draw like that again. There is a reason NBC is getting out of the PBC business outside that fight the ratings were trending bad including Spence previous fight against algeri that barely drew 1m which is not good for network primetime. That is closer to his drawing power then the 5m. Winning the title and getting a thurman fight is what he needs to become a real draw.

Stop with this bullshyt again. Haymon number 1 pole washer here for damage control. The ratings ****** 10m people didnt watch this fight on the showtime app. But im sure thats the story you will tell. LMAO

291K is terrible no matter how you try to spin it and showtime ratings have been in the toilet ever since haymon created PBC. Taking all showtime fighters away and going a whole year where they had little to no fights gutted their boxing viewership. Haymon fighters flocking back to showtime with money running out with PBC but the viewers are not coming back. Established fighters are going back to showtime drawing HALF what they drew before they fought on PBC. Spence was labeled the new boxing superstar and can't even crack 300K viewers. SMH

I would expect 500k on a normal afternoon, but considering it was Memorial Day Weekend at 6pm I'm sure Americans were busy at barbeques and stuff.
