.....if Floyd comes back and takes on Spence instead of that pathetic match-up with Conor. No tune ups, Floyd just steps into the ring with this young hungry lion in his comeback fight. Would you favor Spence or is Floyd still too good??

Spence has got nothing for Floyd. Mayweather would time and counter him all night, Spence would spend the whole fight eating jabs and check hooks

Prime Floyd wins. 40year old Floyd gets wrecked by spence.

Spence has a chance against an old Floyd.

At this point, Spence would likely stop Mayweather if they fought.

I think Floyd will be too rusty. Two years is no joke. You need to be totally recalibrated again. After Mcgregor maybe it would be the right time, even though I don't want that from ever happening, it'd conditioned floyd physically for bigger fights again if he plans to continue.

The Floyd that beat pac and berto can beat spence. A good condition 40 year old floyd can beat spence.

It really depends though on how much he got left.

The last time floyd fought someone who imposes good solid pressure was against maidana I, where he also showcased his offensive skills to win the second half of the fight. sadly, fans are only focused on what was maidana doing.

On their second fight, he don't want none of that inside fighting anymore.

Spence pushes himself inside, and throws whatever punches. If floyd still got a bit of his footwork he got this.

Right now, if they fought, Spence would beat 40 years old Floyd.

Welterweight Floyd from 2007 to 2014 would beat him.

Floyd may also already have the "im retired mentality" and accepted long ago that he doesn't want to compete at highest level anymore. If he doesn't have that win at all cost mentality anymore then chances are he'd fold and crumble at the first sign of trouble if spence brings the fight to him.

It's been two years, dude doesn't want to get hit anymore. Your body gets used to it, and might not react well once put to certain pressure again.
