Rigo some time ago said he tries but cannot put up weight. Some people really cannot put weight anymore once they reach to a certain mass. I think Rigo is fat as he can be even at 122. He already looks like some 122lbs fitness guy.
I also experienced that, skinny people stay as they are.

thats exactly the type of golovkin fanboy attitude that excused golovkins duck of ward "well that guy aint relevant"

now..im not going to argue or get into whos more at fault for rigo/loma not taking place

but the bottom line is...as long as rigo is not retired and is winning...he will always be relevant because those in boxing know who he is and respect his skill level....

It's sad to say bc I'm a long time Rigo fan and believe he has/had HOF talent, but he is pretty irrelevant now. I'm not saying what happened to him has been fair but the truth is that he is pretty obscure now.

He fights once a year, he's with a terrible promotion team, he hasn't had a relevant fight in almost 5 years and in his chance to renew interest on a big card he fought maybe his worst and most boring fight against an overmatched opponent. He never had a broad enough fan base, I can't see how he can really gain any new ones and he has lost many old ones.
