But as you said before, a huge weapon of his, is the jab. It still got to Brook and Jacobs who were awkward/faster for Golovkin to fight and he still landed it on them. Canelo being the shorter guy and exerting energy trying to avoid it, will get caught by it.
Canelo will get caught by it and willl in turn get broken down by the jab....its also the constand pressure that glovkin puts you under that breaks you and besides jacobs , every fighter he has faced has succumbed to it.
Canelo is gonna get hit often and much harder than he has ever been in career and head movement alone will not save him from golovkins body punching.

        • Canelo cites Floyd as his teacher and suddenly they are buddy buddy

Let's get one thing straight, all those who are making the so called bold prediction Canelo KO ggg will get the first to say Canelo is too small if GGG wins. People are suddenly feeling good about Canelo chances because they believe he successfully aged him just enough. Although probably true that ggg is slowed some natural and Canelo chances are better because of it, it's no sure thing. Canelo isn't fight Zombie Chavez or a glass jawed WW.

Canelo isn't Jacobs, he won't gave his power, speed, movement, length or strength. And GGG won't be so much lighter (he's putting on muscle for this fight) and will not gave anything to lose in sense if he wins this fight, he's good. He fought Jacobs knowing dang well a mistake could ruin the biggest fight available to him.

In reality, Mayweather hopes to he'll Canelo can beat ggg. Then he'll try to say he would beat ggg, although he says that now, but he knows boxing experts don't believe it'd be that easy.

You know Floyd doesn't really know what ggg does because of all things he says he says yes flat footed, especially in context to Canelo.

Of then two, Canelo has way worse footwork and has cement feet.

GGG doesn't hop around and run like Floyd so he mistakes it for flat footed, but that he isn't. He shuffles, switches from southpaw throws, and uses a wide stance to make up distances quickly.

GGG footwork is what allows him to keep guys centered in front of him. A thing that was equally worrying to Floyd as ggg power as why he wouldn't fight him. GGG is too dangerous for a gprisk adverse guy like Floyd. Unless GGG fails to KO Canelo and Suanders.

Honestly I thinking Jacobs succumbed to it to he was just able to survive it. It took him out of his fight and he wasn't able to land as much as I'm sure he thought he would.

Jacobs surviving is more about what ggg didn't do than what Jacobs did. I counted multiple instances upon replays where GGG had made Jacobs miss and had Jacobs wide open ready to be hit but ggg didn't pull the trigger. He normally unloads, and I can't see no real reason why he didn't. It was perplexing.

Whatever conditions led him to not pull the trigger on Jacobs, I don't see them evolving into the Canelo fight.

answer, this then, you said crawford will beat manny, stop him, ko him, brutalize him! floyd thinks other wise.

floyd feel that it will be a tough fight for crawford. now why does floyd think it will be a tough fight?

remember pac is washed up thats why he's afraid to fight a live ww and thats why he's avoiding crawford right? but this is the same version that floyd fought, and floyd thinks it'll be a tough fight for crawford.
If Canelo beats ggg it won't have any bearing on Floyd versus ggg. Just because Canelo at 175/180 can take ggg punch doesn't mean Floyd could.

And no, Manny isn't the same version Floyd fought, he's two years older and far past his physical prime. Floyd wants people to believe people he vests best everyone good, so he can do the thing you're trying to do.

Canelo has longer reach than ggg. But I don't think he'll run ggg into counters. GGG will control the pace of the fight.

Triangle theories dont work in boxing, but people still are easy to buy them,so by him saying Canelo will do easy work of GGG,what does that makes him?..Get it?
So in other words if Floyd doesn't think what the majority of people think, then it amounts to self promotion. That's ******ed thinking to me.

I get that the majority of people do not think canelo will ko ggg. Fine. I don't think canelo is going to ko ggg. That said the idea that anyone picking canelo by ko is only doing so because they have an agenda is simply ******ed.

If you apply anything from this fight to the Floyd/canelo fight from 4 yrs earlier than you are ******. The result of this fight does not add to or take away from Floyd in any way.

I disagree with this. Roy didn't get better because Bhop beat guys 4 years later. Roy was an elite atg because of what he did in the ring. Beating bhop showed this.

                    • Worried Floyd

Floyd is praying Canelo beats GGG because Canelo went the distance with Floyd and if GGG knocks him Out that won't look good for Floyd. So if Floyd says it would be easy for him to beat GGG ,then fight him! Or maybe he to busy lining up fights with MMA fighters or maybe WWE .
