    Kind of early for this.

I guess you mean, "ODLH in his welterweight prime would beat today's version of Spence, but maybe not a more experienced version."

Hmm. Spence holds a world title. It doesn't seem premature to imagine this fight. If ODLH were fighting today, Spence would be coming for him.

Agree. Let's let Spence reach his prime first. The kid is nails but still a little green.

We don't even know if Spence is as good as a prime Azumah Nelson yet. Prime Oscar was a monster, and would most likely beat Spence. Spence doesn't have the fleetest of foot, and Oscar was really agile, and lightning quick at 147.

Spence is an inch taller. Dela Hoya height was over billed in the 1990's.

Spence has fought one elite opponent. We don't have enough tape against elite opposition and different styles to know what he can do.

Gotcha. If ODLH were fighting today, and Spence (who holds a world title) were coming for him, you would not be able to pick a winner. You would throw your hands up and say it's too early to tell.

I wouldn't bet money on it. Too many unknowns.
