GGG used the WBC to try and gain leverage over the A side by threatening and then forcing a pursebid. Instead canelo threw the belt in the trash and is making far more money fighting GGG now then the amount he would of had to pay in pursebid. He just mopped the floor with GGG at the negotiation table and now the WBC will be left out in the cold. Not a single soul will care when canelo refuses to pay those crooks a sanction fee. As for the idiot saying this is about not wanting VADA testing...canelo/Chavez had VADA testing and WBC had NOTHING to do with the fight. VADA is not exclusive to WBC. WBC played this wrong and backed the wrong horse and begging to be apart of the canelo gravy train lmao

Now they will lose out on an easy 200k sanctioning fee.
Could you please help me out?

And throughout the 00s, they became close to irrelevant. Really don't understand how they've made a comeback. I blame the influx of new, relatively uneducated fans that the Floyd-Manny soap opera brought to the sport. And most of those fans that where on the Manny side have latched on to GGG. And most of them bought GGG's little fake belt quest hook-line-n-sinker.

he.....
1) totally refused to negotiate on weight with lil 153lb Cotto
2) accepted step-aside money
he LITERALLY moved out of Cotto's way to avoid that fight
why..... ?
because at that point, Cotto was still a world-class boxer who happened to be knocking out the SAME fools that he was knocking out..... and that 154 schtick, was total bullshht
risk/reward baby..... just like everyone else
not saying that was necessarily a bad move by his team, just saying that two things are bullshht..... "dey duckin me doe", is bullshht..... and "fearless warrior who will fight anyone", is absurd bullshht

GGG lost a year and canelo making more money now then last year and will embarrass the phuk out GGG in Sept and your corny azzz will be making excuses for why GGG lost. Maxi pad already started on the excuses blaming it on drug testing cause you nervous and know what's coming.
actually, Canelo conceded on weight

If canelo feared ggg, why doesn't he now? Because of Jacobs? Canelo has known from the advent he is the quicker fighter and that an outside match would suit him and that hasn't changed. Did he all of the sudden get unterrified?
